Our history started back in 2003 in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. Ms. Ana Lucia Fonseca created the best dessert for their relatives and friends at home. Because of the delicious flavor, they gained notice and popularity. With original recipes, was founded, with her family “Suspiros Pastelerías” (Sigh Bakery), opening its first store to the public.
After the acceptance of the market, Suspiros started decorating special cakes for the events and delivering to their clients. By 2006 they added Salted products to the menu and opened six stores more in the State of Sonora. In 2007, “Suspiros Pastelerias” opened its first franchise in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, helping the chain to grow faster throughout the country with this business model. Nowadays, “Suspiros Pastelerias” is the biggest bakery in Mexico with around 260 stores, in more than 23 States and 100 cities.
The combination of original recipes conquered new clients that led to open new stores in five States of Mexico. Always trying to mantain innovation, Suspiros Pastelerias created a new line of gourmet products named COCOA focused on a higher market. Nowadays, Suspiros Pastelerias is the biggest chain of bakeries in Mexico with more than 250 stores throughout the country.
Suspiros Pastelerías chose Tucson to make its grand debut on the North American market, hoping to contribute to the progress of this city. It has been a dream and a challenge for everyone that had been with us along the way since the very beginning. Suspiros Cakes opened up for business on February 2nd 2017 locating its production center and first store on 327 South 12th Ave., Tucson Arizona. Our second store opened its doors a week later on 487 W. Mariposa Road, Nogales, Arizona and finally its third and last store to this day opened on 502 West Ajo Way, Suite 108, Tucson, Arizona on April 23, 2017. We can say that our main goal is to gain the prestige and recognition from national and international commercialization of our product that with the help of our costumers we will be able to achieve it.
